Renowned premium German technical camera manufacturer, Leica Camera Asia Pacific, crafts the first full matte brass finish M Series in the world for The Hour Glass. The exclusive Leica M-P “Brass Edition 35” is limited to only 35 sets in the world.

The Leica M-P Brass Edition will be placed alongside other objets d’art which were commissioned by The Hour Glass such as the Ikepod 60-minute hourglass designed specially by Marc Newson.”

First Full Matte Brass Finish Body and Lens
The Leica M-P “Brass Edition 35” bears the iconic design of a M series, finished in the most raw and original form of full clear lacquered brass and buttons, a first for any Leica Camera. This special edition’s leather trim is also unique with the distinctive chestnut leather for the exterior wrap. This set also includes a carrying strap, both in the same leather as the case.

The lens that comes as part of the set is the Leica Summicron-M 1:2/35mm ASPH. The lens and a classic round lens hood are also decked out in pure brass finishing with clear lacquer for added protection.

A limited edition number is also imprinted on both the hotshoe and the lens - “x/35” with the symbol of The Hour Glass boldly featured above it.

Distinctive Presentation Box With Oscars Golden Paper


The Leica M-P “Brass Edition 35” is presented in a special box that is particularly hand made in Black Forest, Germany for The Hour Glass. The golden paper called “Treasury” is being used for the first time in any Leica packaging. “Treasury” is also the same paper that is used for the envelopes of the Oscars Awards.

The exquisite Leica M-P “Brass Edition 35” is a worldwide limited model and is now exclusively available at Malmaison by The Hour Glass in Singapore.
