Omega 2016 Novelties.

Recently, I was glad to view the Omega 2016 collection. I would like to thank the Singapore Omega team for the preview. Below is a selection of some of my favorite pieces.

Omega Planet Ocean Chorongraph has an interesting bezel with ceramic and rubber (orange 15 min markers) fused together.

Omega Speedmaster Moonphase

A pretty good representation of the moon here. If you look through a loupe, you can see an astronaut's footprint (arrowed). How cool is that!!

Looks absolutely gorgeous on the wrist! Details here click

Omega Planet Ocean 43.5mm GMT features the world's first polished bi-ceramic (ZrO2) black and white bezel (separates day from night). Beautiful contrast!

Finally, the Omega Speedmaster GSOTM Meteorite. The dial is made from a solid piece of Meteorite. The tachymeter scale has been created using Omega Ceragold (a combination of 18K gold and ceramic).

This year's collection should be available in the stores from June onwards with some models, the Speedmaster moonphase and globemaster coming in the later part of the year.
