Press Release: Zenith Elite 6150 in Rose Gold.

It is the face of the Elite collection. Its pure lines embody contemporary elegance from Zenith. Newly released and yet already timeless. The crowning glory of the Manufacture’s 150th anniversary collection, the Elite 6150 now also appears in rose gold, a precious variation pervaded by a sense of understated refinement.

Having gained immediate success right from its launch in 2015, the Elite 6150 model now comes clothed in rose gold, illuminating its curved 42 mm-diameter case, its pure dial with engraved hour-markers and its slender leaf-type hands. Already a must-have, this timelessly elegant watch incorporates a sure token of the accomplished skills cultivated by a true Manufacture: a state-of-the-art in-house movement with a four-day power reserve. With its classic design tinged with a hint of modernity, the Elite 6150 is a bridge between Zenith’s proud heritage and its resolutely future-oriented attitude. The legend moves ever onwards.

SLIMNESS AND AUTONOMY
At the heart of this rose gold case beats the new Elite 6150 calibre, entirely developed and crafted by Zenith. This ultra-thin automatic movement is the modern version of the famous Elite, presented by Zenith in 1994 and awarded the “Best Movement of the Year” title. In response to contemporary demands, the Manufacture has perfected both the performance and the versatility of its base calibre, currently considered one of the most reliable on the market. Its technical assets include a generous over 100-hour power reserve thanks to twin barrels, a broader 30 mm diameter, and a central sweep-seconds hand, all contributing to enhanced amplitude, precision and reliability. The exceptionally slim Elite Calibre 6150, with its 195 assembled components measuring a mere 3.92 mm thick, drives central displays of the hours, minutes and seconds, governed by the steady beat of the balance-wheel oscillating at 28,800 vibrations per hour.

TIMELESS PURITY
Robed in rose gold, the ultra-thin 42 mm-diameter case with its distinctive pebble shape Elite 6150 model is fitted with a fluted crown. Its flowing curves are accentuated by the ergonomic lugs perfectly moulding the wrist, while its sapphire crystal case-back reveals a subtle mechanism wound by an oscillating weight adorned with “Côtes de Genève”. Water-resistant to 50 metres, this case with its pure, understated lines frames a domed silver-toned dial swept over by slim rose gold leaf-type hands. In a subtle trompe l’oeil effect, the stylised hour-markers are engraved and rose gold-coloured to create a sense of depth. A brown alligator leather strap lined with rubber and secured by a rose gold pin buckle sets the perfect finishing touch to the inherent refinement of the Elite 6150 model.

Available in stainless steel and rose gold versions, the Elite 6150 now forms a classic duo radiating an unmistakable aura of elegance and distinction.
