Event Report: The Hour Glass And Breitling Launched The Avenger Hurricane In Singapore!

The Paragon shopping mall atrium was transformed into a mini runway during the launch of the Brietling Avenger Hurricane. Retailers, media, customers and supporters of the brand were all invited to attend this aviation-themed event. The turnout was a sizeable number, with guests mingling and having a good time while also understanding more about the new watch.

Alvin Soon (GM, Breitling Singapore) welcomed guests with an opening speech.

In tune with the theme, models dressed in aviation suits strutted down the runway donning Breitling watches on their wrists. They were accompanied by the gentlemen from Augustman’s “A-Listers”, who were also invited to grace the event.

It's 50mm in diameter but it is extremely light and sturdy with the use of Breitling's new Breitlight technogoly that is 3.3x lighter than Titanium and 5.5x lighter than steel. A world-first in the watch industry. For more details of the watch, click!

An interesting aspect to the launch was the presence of a flight simulator that was brought in just for this exclusive exhibition. Guests were able to experience flying the plane, and the one who could land safely with the fastest time would win a prize.

 The happy winner was presented with a diecast model of Breitling's Jet Team L-39 Albatros by Kelvin Lim (Deputy GM, The Hour Glass) .
