Duke by Vianney Halter: Clarity Tourbillon

Denis and Alessio Miller

I had the pleasure to meet with the founders of Duke, a haute horlogerie watch brand from Luxembourg. The father and son team, Denis and Alessio Muller has a long history in the Haute Couture business. They decided to also move into the watchmaking business in 2016. Duke has its own factory to manufacture parts in-house, as well as supplying parts to other high end watch brands.

 The Clarity Tourbillon featuring a carbon fiber case with titanium inserts. Limited to 8 pieces.

An invisible sapphire oscillating weight provides a clear view of the front and back of the tourbillon in motion. Caliber 9600: Tourbillion with and inviisible sapphire rotor.

The finishing of the case and movement are alluring to me. It is indeed an up-and-coming brand to look out for.
