Press Release : SINN 158 and 104 St Sa A B E

Photos and Press Release supplied : Sinn 158

The ‘wristwatch with double stopwatch’ (as it was originally known by the Bundeswehr – the German armed forces – during the 1960s), was sold only in very limited quantities during the 1980s and early 1990s. The traditional bicompax chronograph is now one of the most sought-after collector’s watches from Sinn.
These impressive pilot watches were fitted with a Valjoux 230 hand-wound chronograph movement and a pilot’s bezel. The design of the traditional 158 pilot chronograph is in keeping with its predecessor: the bead-blasted case with a diameter of 43 mm, the high-domed acrylic glass, a black, easy-to-use pilot’s bezel manufactured from anodised aluminium and a large, equally comfortable winding crown are distinctly reminiscent of our traditional pilot chronographs.

A total of 500 of these traditional 158 pilot chronographs are being produced, each with an engraved limited-edition marking on the case back. Sinn 158 retails at SGD 4,760.

Sinn 104 St Sa A B E

The 104 St Sa A B E model is distinguished by its dark-blue dial with sunburst decoration. This elegant colour complements the anodised aluminium pilot’s bezel. It imparts a special charm to this limited-edition timepiece (limited to 1,000 units) from the range of classic pilot watches.

As a harmonious contrast to the blue colouring of the dial and pilot’s bezel, the indices, hands and numerals have an ivory coating – a colour accent that immediately invokes memories of historic pilot watches.

In its overall appearance, however, the 104 St Sa A B E still conveys a modern impression, including through its functional character. Accordingly, it is resistant to low pressure and pressure-resistant up to 20 bar. The 104 St Sa A B E model comes with two canvas leather straps.
Sinn 104 St Sa A B E retails at SGD 2,370.

The Hour Glass and Watches of Switzerland are proud to be the exclusive retailer of Sinn in Singapore.
